Hi, my name is Young Hoo, the guy behind Tasko. Tasko mean 'task' in Esperanto.
I am personally a big fan of TaskPaper, an innovative task manager on Mac. I use Windows on my daily work, and sometime I cannot use Mac computer, so I had to find out a solution from web. That's how I came to make Tasko, a web-based application of TaskPaper.
I think the concept of Tasko (and TaskPaper) can appeal to many people who are exhausted to use troublesome task manager. Even simple and well-structured task manager has certain kind of complexity attributable to its (well defined) data structure. All information in Tasko and TaskPaper is just text. When I list up my task using Tasko (and TaskPaper), I feel I'm reifying my concept and project by typing. It's writing, actually. This feeling cannot be experienced by using other structured task manager. I hope you share this sence of concentration with Tasko or TaskPaper.
I'd love to hear what you views on Tasko. Please, feel free to email me your thought.
